Summary

The Calgary Medical Genetics and Genomics program provides comprehensive training in all areas of Medical Genetics, with an excellent balance between teaching and clinical service. The five-year program offers extensive exposure to various genetic specialties, including clinical, laboratory, and research experiences. Residents gain broad expertise through diverse rotations and specialized clinics across pediatric and adult settings.

Research

Residents are expected to complete a scholarly project with mentorship and guidance from faculty. Funding is provided for conference attendance with abstract submission.
