Summary

The TMU Internal Medicine Residency Program provides comprehensive training in Internal Medicine, offering residents exposure to a wide breadth of patient populations in a community setting. The program focuses on developing well-rounded competencies across all CanMEDS roles and preparing residents to manage complex, multi-system diseases in various healthcare environments.

Residents have opportunities for scholarly work through LEARN Time, with potential for publication and engagement in research activities.
Training setting
Training occurs across multiple sites in Peel and surrounding communities, including urban and rural environments, with a mix of community and clinical settings. Residents will train at multiple hospitals and healthcare centers.
