Summary

The University of Saskatchewan Pediatrics Residency Program in Regina offers a comprehensive 4-year training experience with distributed learning across Saskatchewan. With 2 residents per year in Regina and 6 in Saskatoon, the program provides ample direct contact with pediatric faculty and diverse clinical exposures.

Research

Residents are supported through a dedicated Director of Resident Research, research curriculum, funding for conference presentations, and opportunities to present at Pediatric Child Health Research Day.

Training setting

Training occurs primarily at Regina General Hospital, with distributed learning experiences in Saskatoon, including the new Jim Pattison Children's Hospital. The program provides urban and community-based pediatric training across Saskatchewan.
