Summary

The UBC Pediatric Residency Program provides comprehensive training to prepare highly competent pediatric specialists across British Columbia. Residents receive broad inpatient, ambulatory, and community educational experiences, with training in tertiary care settings and distributed sites throughout the province, emphasizing clinical excellence, medical education, research, and child health advocacy.

Research
Residents are expected to complete a research project, with 4 weeks of research enrichment time available during training. First-year residents participate in a 24-hour research curriculum.
