Summary

The University of Manitoba Pediatrics Residency Program offers comprehensive training in pediatric medicine, focusing on developing competent general pediatricians capable of managing medically and socially complex children and adolescents. Residents receive diverse clinical exposure across urban, rural, and northern settings, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care and social justice principles.

Each resident must complete a scholarly project, with dedicated research time, mentorship, and potential funding from the Children's Hospital Foundation.
