Teaching Philosophy
The program follows a Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME) approach, using Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) and milestones to assess resident progression through four stages of training: Transition to Discipline, Foundations of Discipline, Core of Discipline, and Transition to Practice.

Training occurs across multiple sites in Ottawa, including The Ottawa Hospital (Civic, Riverside, and General Campuses), Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), and several regional hospitals.
